Descrizione: The BPL, recruitment agency in the healthcare sector established in Ireland, in collaboration with the Italian EURES network, is recruiting Professional General Staff Nurses, with or without experience, to be employed in private health facilities located in the South of the UK (e.g. Nursing Home). Patients include: elderly with general problems (Standard Nursing Home), elderly with associated degenerative mental health pathologies, such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s (this is usually in the form of additional rooms, devoted to patients with this problem, inside a standard Nursing Home), people with Profound Learning Disabilities, such as severe Cerebral Palsy (this is a Nursing Home specific for people with Learning Disabilities), people suffering from neurological conditions, such as Neuron Motor Disease or Traumatic Brain injury (these are Nursing Homes specialized in patients with neurological conditions and experience in a neurological ward/rehabilitation centred is preferred). All these positions will be permanent, full time (40 hours per week, according to the standard contract). Overtime is usually available for those candidates who wish to work more hours. This is of course subject to the needs of the Home where you are regularly working and nearby Homes who need extra help as well. Gross pay per hour will be 11.50 pounds, approximately € 14.00 per hour, before tax. All successful candidates will undergo a period of training and adaptation. The company often has accommodation, usually very close to the Nursing Home itself and its costs are quite accessible (usually between 300 and 440 pounds per month with all bills included). There are private and shared accommodations. There are always subject to availability, but all candidates usually have accommodation available. Will be offered training opportunities, possibility of overtime and career. Applications will be pre-selected by Italian EURES Advisers in each region / province. A briefing and the first interview will be held in Rome on the 11th and 12th of June 2014. All candidates will be informed by mail about logistical arrangement (location and timetable). Requisiti richiesti: at least B2 level of English language, both spoken and written; Qualifications: qualified to practice the profession of Nurse and enrollment at Italian Professional College, NMC registration should be underway or already completed ( Nurse Midwifery Council – College of Nursing English – http://www.nmc-uk.org/Registration/Joining-the – register / ), previous experience in the same role would be an advantage. Strong motivation to move and to work abroad, adaptation to a different culture and system.
